Kelsey Jonas, PT, DPT, CCRT

Dr. Kelsey graduated from the University of Delaware in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a concentration in Exercise Physiology. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and shortly thereafter, relocated to Portland, OR. Her desire to reach this canine population led to the establishment of Canine PT and Me, implementing rehabilitation and wellness for dogs to help them return to their activities.

In her free time, Dr. Kelsey enjoys exploring restaurants and craft breweries in the greater Portland area. She is an active gym member and participates in rock climbing, yoga, running, hiking, and she loves to travel. She is also an advocate for local dog rescues in the Portland-metro area.

Dr. Chelsey Lindberg, BVMS, CCRT, CVMA

Dr. Chelsey Lindberg hails from the sunny state of California. She started her journey into Veterinary medicine by attending Abilene Christian University in Texas to obtain her Animal Science degree. She then followed her dream to University of Glasgow, Scotland, where she graduated with her degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 2010.

Dr. Lindberg’s passions lie within the field of veterinary rehabilitation and pain management. Her journey into Canine Rehabilitation started like many others, through her personal experience with her older yellow lab, Thor, in 2012. Through his health and physical needs, she discovered the value of rehabilitation and acupuncture. Her passion in this developing field led her to the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2013, where she became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist. She then continued her training by completing her acupuncture certification through the program in 2014.

Dr. Lindberg’s endeavor is to use her skills and passion for rehabilitation to improve the quality of life of our companions through relieving pain, improving recovery, promoting fitness and nutrition.

When out of the office, she enjoys being outdoors enjoying nature and traveling to new places. She is also a big fan of water sports, especially stand up paddle boarding. When stuck indoors, she enjoys baking and a good book.

Brittany Ables, Client Experience Specialist

I was born in North Carolina and moved to Oregon in my teenage years. I graduated Rex Putnam High School. I’ve spent most of my early adulthood doing customer service but always had a deeper calling to help others.

When my pup Liilu got diagnosed with a CCL tear and a soft tissue sarcoma in the same leg, we made the unthinkable decision to amputate before her cancer spread. At this time, we were unaware of the benefits/availability to canine physical therapy. I am so grateful to be a part of a team that works tirelessly in helping these dogs heal from injuries, increasing their quality of life, and educating pawrents on how to best care for their dogs. I now feel like I am able to help these pups in a way that I wasn’t able to help my own.

What Pawrents Say

All smiles for Otis as he is back to puppy school.

“My dog had bilateral MPL surgery at 8 months old. Dr. Kelsey Jonas was very instrumental to his exceptional recovery. She was very thorough, committed, and most of all caring to my black lab Otis! Thank you so much Dr. Jonas!!”

“Dr. Kelsey is amazing! She helped our dog Pam immensely! She’s kind, gentle, and can get creative when it comes to getting the job done! She earned Pam’s trust quickly and helped heal an injury that was not going away on its own. I cannot recommend Canine PT  them enough!!”

–Robin E, Pam’s mom

“We took our elderly pup to Kelsey and it was a wonderful experience. She helped our little guy so much. His walking was much improved after only a couple of visits. We highly recommend her. She is caring and really knows her stuff.”
