“Kelsey was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and made both myself and my corgi, Carl, feel very comfortable when she was there. She taught us both so much about different things we can do to help rehab his leg and left us with the tools to continue things after our sessions were over. Carl us all healed up and I would definitely recommend he to others and use her again if needed!”–Katie B, Carl’s mom
Carl is back to running with his mom and isn’t limping anymore.
“Dr. Kelsey helped me by treating my 8lb chihuahua, Trixie. Trixie had an injured hind leg. She was limping and unable to engage in her normal activities for a few months. After just 3 sessions with Dr.Kelsey, Trixie made a full recovery. I hadn’t even known this effective option existed. I would definitely recommend any pet owner to consider pet PT!”–Banu R, Trixie’s mom
“When I began looking for physical therapy options there were not many options out there. Then I saw the link for Canine PT and Me, clicked it and started reading. What intrigued me at first was the kind of dogs she treats, specifically dogs who have just come out of surgery. My German Shepard mix, Max had just undergone TPLO surgery and needed some PT. When I sent in the intake form Kelsey responded quickly and whenever there were scheduling conflicts with work or running late she was understanding, and accommodating. During the first sessions Max would often find ways to avoid an exercise. Kelsey addressed these issues resourcefully and creatively, and this would extend into Max’s exercise schedule, until finally he had the strength and guidance that he needed to effectively do his exercises. Max went from having a knuckling back left foot to being able to have fun and joyful walks again. I’m very grateful to have that back. Thank you to Canine PT and Me.”–Everardo T, Max’s dad
Max’s smile can’t get any bigger now that he can play in the dog park and run around.
“I wish I could scream from the rooftops telling everyone to send your dogs to PT post surgery (specifically TPLO surgery). Instead I will do it here. Knowing our dog would be undergoing a major surgery, especially one that would hinder her mobility, there was no doubt in our minds that we would be doing physical therapy for our dog after our vet recommended it to us. When weighing out our options, it was a no brainer to work with Canine PT and Me. Kelsey made physical therapy so easy and convenient for us for us, working with our schedules and doing the sessions at our home. This is the reason we initially went with Canine PT and Me, so our dog could do her PT in a space where she felt the most comfortable and we didn’t have to load her into the car where she would risk injuring herself more, before she was healed. Not only did Kelsey make it convenient, but was also super patient and would let our dog lead and would listen to her when she had enough of one exercise and she would think of creative ways to work a particular muscle when our dog would not want to do it the original way. Our dog loves her and would be so excited every time she would come over and would be exhausted every time Kelsey would leave. Now after completing our dog’s PT, she is back to her same old self, doing zoomies in the yard and getting to chase all the squirrels. Hopefully we will never have to go through PT again BUT if we do, we will immediately be giving Canine PT and Me a call! Kelsey we cannot thank you enough for helping bring Guinness back to being her good old self!”–Natalie B, Guinness’ mom
Guinness is so happy she can run around the backyard again on her home-made racetrack.
“My dog had bi lateral MPL surgery at 8 months old. Dr. Kelsey Jonas was very instrumental to his exceptional recovery. She was very thorough, committed, and most of all caring to my black lab Otis! Thanks Dr. Jonas!!”–Andrea V, Otis’ mom
All smiles for Otis as he is back to puppy school and running around with his dog friends.
“Dr. Kelsey is amazing! She helped our Dog Pam immensely! She’s kind and gentle and can get creative when it comes to getting the job done! She earned Pam’s trust quickly and helped heal an injury that was not going away on its own. Everyone at the canine PT fam is awesome and I can not recommend them enough!!”–Robin E, Pam’s mom

“Kelsey was fantastic! She is professional, kind and knowledgeable. As a PT myself (although one who specializes in humans) I am a firm believer in physical therapy, but I wasn’t sure how to implement it with my 14 year old dog, Freddy. Freddy has widespread arthritis, particularly in his elbows, and weakness in his hips. He seemed to love his sessions working with Kelsey and we saw good outcomes following treatment. His limping has diminished and he has been able to tolerate longer walks. We have been able to decrease and nearly eliminate his pain medication. My goal for my pup is to maximize his quality of life, and keep him happy and comfortable in his senior years and I feel physical therapy with Kelsey has been very beneficial!”–Kelly W, Freddy’s mom
All smiles for Freddy now that he can walk longer distances without a limp.
“We took our elderly pup to Kelsey and it was a wonderful experience. She helped our little guy so much. His walking was much improved after only a couple of visits. We highly recommend her. She is caring and really knows her stuff.”–Kathy Z, Henry’s mom
At 16 years old, Henry was such a trooper through all of his exercises.
“I was referred to Kelsey after my dog’s (Mingus) TPLO surgery. Kelsey was fantastic! Her manner with dogs is outstanding and Mingus always greeted her with a tail wag. He is back to full strength and has had several backpacking trips since his work with her. Thanks Kelsey!”–Doug H, Mingus’ dad
Mingus was so well trained and worked his tail off to get back to hiking.
“I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kelsey Jonas with Canine PT and Me. My sweet rottie Mazey was hit by a car during our nightly walk. The accident obliterated one of her lumbar discs, causing spinal inflammation and subsequent paralysis. We weren’t sure if she would ever walk again, and at nearly 80lbs, that was a devastating diagnosis. Through our dedicated nursing care, physical therapy, and cold laser therapy, she has made a nearly full recovery. My baby girl can now run, jump, play, basically anything any other dog can do. Thank you Dr. Jonas!”–Angelina G, Mazey’s mom
Mazey was completely unable to use her legs and now she is running around with her furry siblings.
“Dr. Kelsey Jonas is an exceptionally knowledgeable, skillful, and caring therapist. The way she related to our cantankerous old Beagle Abbie was amazing. Abbie trusted her, it was clear, right from the start — even when Kelsey was massaging her sensitive, injured hips, or getting Abbie to walk, forwards, backwards, even sideways, over obstacles set up to get her to move through therapeutic exercises. Her treatment was effective. We were so delighted to see how quickly Abbie recovered under Kelsey’s care. Kelsey has very good communication skills. She put us at ease right away, and explained at every step what she was doing, and helped us understand what we could do to contribute to Abbie’s recovery. She has our highest recommendation.”–Ted D, Abbie’s dad
“I contacted Dr. Kelsey Jonas after my 1.5 year old dog had surgery for bilateral elbow dysplasia. We met weekly and received clear instructions on what to practice at home. My dog was getting more and more excited each week when we headed to the door of her office because he had so much fun during the visits! There were lots of treats and praise and he became friends with Dr. Kelsey during the first session. I believe that seeing her has sped up my dog’s recovery process (along with hydrotherapy, which we did at someone else’s facility) and it was very helpful to have her guidance on how to handle certain situations during his rehab process. She is kind, patient, easy to communicate with and she was always adapting to what my dog was willing and able to do. She also never sent us some with exercises that felt impossible to do and I was not required to buy any equipment. I could train with my dog using items that most people will have at home.”–Julia M, Mandu’s mom
Mandu is so excited to get back to running around his backyard and living a long, happy life.
“Our BC mix, Cinder, fractured 3/5 of her metacarpals in January of this year. After 16+ weeks in a splints, she was ready to start getting her strength back so we could see if she’d make a complete recovery. Our vet recommended that we work with a PT and after some asking around, we were able to connect with Dr. Kelsey. She was the only PT who has a mobile practice. This was amazing because it a) meant NO STRESS for Cinder since she could do her sessions at home, and b), meant that scheduling was much easier since we didn’t have to travel to/from a clinic for her visits (a bonus when you have a busy work schedule!). Over the course of the summer, Dr. Kelsey slowly built up Cinder’s strength, balance, and coordination. She went from limping every morning to having crazy zoomies up and down hills. It was amazing! It’s also important to note that Cinder is a challenging and nervous patient. Dr. Kelsey worked with us to make her sessions as stress-free as possible <3 10/10 recommend Dr. Kelsey and her practice to ANYONE!”–Corie T, Cinder’s mom
The level of focus Cinder put in to every session helped her get back to skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.
“Dr. Jonas did a wonderful job with my German Shepherd mix who has some anxiety issues. She was very patient and worked with him at his pace. She is very knowledgeable not only for canine physical therapy but also with their behavioral signs so she can keep the dogs engaged. There were plenty of options to do the homework without a lot of equipment. My dog definitely gained strength from his work with Dr. Jonas. I highly recommend Canine PT and Me if your dog ever needs any type of rehab or physical therapy.”–Kelly C, Harold’s mom
Harold’s smiling because he has gotten so much stronger.
“We engaged Dr. Jonas and Canine PT and Me about three months ago when our 14 year old dog began to lose the use of his hind legs – and it was the best decision we could have made. She brought expert, compassionate care and helped make him be more mobile and comfortable in the final part of his life. I only wish I had known earlier about the benefits of pet physical therapy in general and Dr. Jonas’s expertise in specific. Worth every penny and more.”–Art S, Gavin’s dad
Gavin was so excited about getting his wheelchair that he couldn’t hold back his smile.
“Our 18 lb pup, Piper, had a complete CCL tear. We chose to give rehab a try prior to surgery and were referred to Dr. Kelsey by our orthopedic vet. Dr. Kelsey is incredibly kind and caring. She is mild mannered, but easily got Piper to follow along with all her exercises. We received a text with a detailed list of the exercises for us to work on between the sessions. Piper has done great and will avoid surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Kelsey!”–Mandy B, Piper’s mom
Piper politely asking “are there are more treats in your hand.”
“When finding out our fur child had hip dysplasia we were devastated. He is our adventure buddy and loves to go on runs and ride along side when we longboard. When the vet suggested PT we wanted to do anything that would help him not be in pain and still be as active as he always has been. Kelsey came to our house which is super convenient due to our busy work schedule. She used Covid protocol and made us fell safe even when we’re in a pandemic and having someone come into your house can be scary. It would feel like nearly impossible to get him to classes if we had to travel to a place ,but with her coming to the house it made it possible to be consistent with his therapy. She was amazing with our dog even when at times he was hesitant meeting her due to her being the individual who was working on his pain areas. She was able to do the therapy even with the challenges and we are seeing a more healthy pain free dog with her help. She taught us many exercises and activities that we can use in the long run. Another benefit I loved with using Canine PT and Me was she was very affordable and flexible with payment . It was a great experience and I would highly recommend going through her because seeing the benefits and the health of my dog thrive is all that matters and she went above and beyond to help achieve that.”–Keelani D, Shaka’s mom
Shaka smiling at his last PT session because he came so far with his rehab.
“I am so glad that we used the Canine PT and Me services for our dog. It is well worth it. Just like a human if you have major joint surgery you will do much better if you have post op rehab and it is the same for your dog. You will not believe how much the muscles atrophy on the surgery side during the down time. Also the activities you learn make for fun games you can play with dog even after the rehab phase is done and they will get a work out at the same time.”–Olympia C, Chewie’s mom
Chewie is waiting for his laser therapy, cuddled up by his mom’s feet.
“Kelsey was extremely helpful in assisting our puppy in his recovery from surgery on his leg! She was both knowledgeable and personable. Kelsey listened to our long-term goals for our pup and designed an exercise program specific to his needs. 10/10 recommend using Kelsey if you want a fun and easy experience!”–Louisa A, Milo’s mom
Milo is back to running and jumping down all of the mountains in the PNW.
“Kelsey is amazing! I found her for my dog Bleu who underwent TPLO surgery for a torn CCL. We started PT exercises at 3 weeks post op and went to about 14 weeks. I found her by searching mobile dog PT and so glad I did! Bleu has always been nervous about going to groomers, vets, etc. and to have a PT that came to our home was so helpful! Each session I saw Bleu make more progress. Kelsey gave us exercises to do each day in between sessions to keep Bleu on track, which he always looked forward to. Thanks to Kelsey, Bleu made fast progress and will soon be back to dog parks and hiking! Kelsey was so calm, patient and loving towards Bleu. He was always excited when she came for sessions! We will miss her! Definitely recommend using her for any pet PT needs!”–Jordan T, Bleu’s mom
Bleu is so proud that he can jump and run and hike again after his surgery.
“I wish we had known about Dr. Kelsey sooner! Our dog had her second TPLO surgery on her other leg in early March. We wanted to get the most out of this surgery since she was literally on her last leg and it was really important to us that her senior years be healthy and active. After much research, I contacted Dr. Kelsey and knew after a few seconds on the phone that she was the most knowledgeable in this type of surgery and what a fast and healthy recovery entails. Dr. Kelsey was always so patient and kind with our WILD angel and so helpful in coaching us in exercises we could perform to build upon her sessions. It’s also nice that Dr. Kelsey is a joy to talk to and we looked forward to her visits, not only for our dog, but also for us! Our dog’s recovery from this surgery (vs her first one 3 years ago) was so much faster than without therapy and she was able to put full weight on her leg in no time at all. It’s been 9 weeks since surgery and our dog is getting around better than we could have ever imagined and know it’s due to Dr. Kelsey’s care and support. I highly recommend!”–Sarah R, Riley’s mom
Riley is happy as can be now that both of her knees are fixed and she can get back to her long walks.
“A physical therapist that comes to YOU?! This was huge for us. We have been so happy with Canine PT and Me…our 2 year old German Shepherd was diagnosed with elbow and wrist arthritis and was limping continuously. We really didn’t want to get surgery and were recommended to Kelsey. She came to our house to meet with our dog to do exercises, massage and cold laser and then put us on a plan with very clear instructions for what our homework was. In five sessions, our dog doesn’t limp anymore and is allowed to run and play off leash. We will continue our homework and continue to work with Canine PT and Me as we need because this work saved us surgery and also made our dog so much stronger in body and mind (she’s also no longer leash reactive now!). Our dog loved the exercises, the challenge and Kelsey. Also, if you have pet insurance, it usually covers PT and that was helfpul as well. Highly recommend!”–Alison W, Rumba’s mom

“Kelsey has been wonderful to work with. Our senior blue heeler mix had torn his second CCL in the span of a year. The surgeon referred us to Kelsey and his recovery is in large part credit to her expertise. It was incredibly helpful and reassuring to have Kelsey help monitor his progress. Our dog loved working with Kelsey and was excited to see her every time she came to our door. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who’s furry best friend is in recovery for an orthopedic surgery. Kelsey will help get them moving again, fast!”–Alex K, Cedar’s dad
Cedar’s very happy and waiting for his next round of treats during his rehab.
“Our St. Bernard mix had double TPLO surgery so we really wanted to make sure we did everything possible to make the surgeries successful and help him recover. Also, having PT at the house was such a help for us, especially in the first month of PT when getting a 150+ lb dog in the car was not a great option. Dr. Kelsey Jonas is amazing at her job and I highly recommend Canine PT and Me. Kelsey is knowledgeable and caring, and customizes everything for you and your pet. Our dog is back to “full speed” and it is thanks to Kelsey’s great care.”–Sue B, Chip’s mom

“We had a great experience with Canine PT and Me! My pointer, Abigail, had a partial CCL tear and needed to get surgery. She is a high energy dog and at only 3 years old we knew that we needed to invest in her recovery to ensure she could run for years to come. After the surgery, our vet suggested that we look into PT for Abigail to help rebuild her strength and confidence in the knee. I personally had knee surgery a couple of years ago and PT was a game changer for me, so I figured I’d give it a shot for my dog. Abigail started out being very hesitant with putting weight on her leg. She wanted to only hop around on 3 legs and not put any weight on that fourth leg. We had Kelsey come to our home and evaluate Abigail. She came up with a treatment plan and we scheduled out our visits. It was so convenient to have her come to our home, since Abigail can be pretty anxious in new places. Kelsey brought all sorts of equipment for Abigail to use during her sessions. She had it down to a science! Kelsey was very sweet with Abigail and knew when to push her and when she needed to take a break. The results speak for themselves; her muscle tone is significantly better in that leg now, she is running around at full speed in the yard, and doesn’t favor her knee anymore. I would highly recommend Canine PT and Me!”–Ginette R, Abigail’s mom
Abigail loves to look longingly into your eyes as she patiently waits for treats.
“I am so glad I found Dr. Kelsey Jonas at Canine PT and Me. She is absolutely amazing. She sincerely cares about her furry friends big and small and is so encouraging, patient and kind with them. She was so great with our Pug Lancey and I love how she called him her friend ? he would try so hard for her! I highly recommend her for your fur babies, she is very flexible and wonderful to work with.”–Robin A, Lancey’s mom

“Canine PT and Me is great! Kelsey provided a level of reassurance and positivity that was much needed when we went through our puppies amputation. She did a great job developing a rehab plan that was both challenging and fun for him. The PT homework really helped us focus our training on what would be the most beneficial for his recovery. We definitely noticed how the exercises she taught our pup and us helped build up his confidence. Within six weeks of his surgery he is going up and down stairs, running, playing with his pup pals and going on hikes!”–Anna E, Rossi’s mom

“Kelsey is an amazing physical therapist. She saved our dog, Scout, from having to have surgery. Her clinical knowledge and skill are invaluable. She works with you and your dog, at your level and gave us such great clinical insight and knowledge. Along with her in-depth and amazing clinical knowledge, she has an incredible bedside manner. She is calm, genuine, and could manage our anxious and fear aggressive dog. We were so lucky to find Kelsey and would highly recommend her to anyone trying to trouble shoot physical problems with their dogs or for really great clinical insight about how to best manage injuries. Kelsey really is the very best at what she does!!!”–Mandy M, Scout’s mom
Scout smiling pretty for the camera.
“Kelsey is the best! Our dog, Toby, had a hip replacement and his pre-op and post-op PT were essential to his speedy recovery. He is now just 4 months post-op and walking, running, and playing like other 3 year old dogs. He still has a bit more muscle to regain yet, but thanks to Kelsey’s superb instruction, we are confident about what we need to do following the completion of her visits to ensure Toby’s maximum recovery. Kelsey was creative in her approach to dog PT. She came to our very small apartment with all needed props for PT and somehow made the space work for the job. Toby loved all the interesting exercises that she created for him to rebuild his strength in the affected side. In addition, Kelsey was very professional in her interactions with us, on-time for scheduled home visits, and extremely flexible in shifting a PT session when we had last minute schedule changes of our own. Kelsey has a soothing and calm presence that was especially helpful to our shy dog in his first couple of sessions. She brought lots of delicious treats though that further aided her in quickly winning him over. We highly recommend Kelsey at Canine PT and Me!!”–Laura M, Toby’s mom

“I found canine PT just through a Google search! We were desperately searching for a physical therapist to help our 10 year old husky who could not walk all of the sudden. Because of covid and limited staff and hours – I couldn’t find any animal physical therapists that could see him any sooner than 3 months out 🙁 we saw 4 different vets that had no idea what was wrong with our pup, Brutus, but we knew he was in so much pain! Kelsey at canine PT listened to my story though and squeezed us into an appointment for a consultation with Brutus ASAP- she was even willing to see him on her day off so he could be seen sooner ! after Kelsey’s exams of Brutus, she started treatment for pain relief, but also highly recommended that we push to get him an MRI and to see a canine neurologist, because she thought it may be something other than a purely musculoskeletal issue with his spine given her exam. We did just that and she was right- it was actually a spinal sheath tumor. Unfortunately, it was to far progressed to treat, but Kelsey did a great job helping to keep Brutus as comfortable as possible when his body hurt all over from the pinching the tumor caused. Kelsey came well prepared to our house with loads of healthy dog treats, electro pulse blankets, and many other therapeutic devices! Her and Brutus became immediate friends and he was very comfortable around her ( as was I!). She truly cared for our pup and regularly checked in after appointments to see how he was doing even!! Kelsey is great with dogs ( and people!) and an excellent canine physical therapist.
If you have any issues with mobility, pain, surgery rehabilitation, etc with your beloved pup or even just old age problems like hip soreness!- then I highly recommend you try canine PT!!!!!!!”–Charisse T, Brutus’s mom
Brutus made some progress to sit up on his own with his pain management sessions.
“I highly recommend Canine PT and Me — and Dr. Kelsey J. Our dog, Rennie, had surgery on Dec. 30th to repair a luxating patella (in which the kneecap slides out of its groove). Rennie is 15 months old and fairly anxious, so we were wondering how on earth she could have successful PT someplace where we were not allowed inside, or to observe and learn. When Dr. Kelsey came to our home the first time, Rennie was anxious but now is excited to see her and participate in the PT. Dr. Kelsey’s manner is professional and calm and she was very patient and kind to Rennie. She proved to be knowledgeable and experienced with a distinct plan for Rennie’s recovery. Because we were able to be with Rennie during the PT, we learned how to do the PT on the days between appointments. Dr. Kelsey has all the tools, including laser treatment, that are customary for canine PT. Masks were worn, we had an overhead fan and a window or door open for circulating air — if Covid19 is a concern. I am so glad we made the decision to use Canine PT and Me. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.”–Teresa M, Rennie’s mom

“Our dog went through leg surgery and I hoped I’d be able to follow the post-op PT instructions as I couldn’t get an appointment at the PT clinic our vet recommended. But the dog was clearly still uncomfortable. I found Dr. Kelsey’s mobile clinic online. Couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. She followed COVID protocols in our home, she was excellent with our on occasion moody dog, and pleasant to me too. He is in incredible shape now, even lost some weight. We received links with information on his exercises between sessions and got both our dogs involved because the other one just wanted to participate in the fun! I also appreciated the numerous auto reminders about the appointment in advance, kept me on track too. You can feel confident in making a phone call you’re doing the right thing for your dog, and it will be a good experience for you too.”–Shannon S, Teddy’s mom

“Dr Kelsey Jonas has been such a blessing! Our 8 year old, golden doodle, Malachi, tore his CCL and Dr Kelsey has worked with him helping presurgery and now in recovery. She is knowledgeable, patient, and very devoted to her clients. Having her come to our home is a bonus and she arrives on time!! Our dog responds so well to Dr Kelsey and her healing hands! She has truly made a difference in his recovery working through knots in his muscles, building his strength and confidence and even an improvement in Malachi’s demeanor . It is obvious working with Dr Kelsey has done wonders for Malachi. We are very pleased with Canine PT and Me- with Dr Kelsey’s guidance we have learned how to help with exercises in between appointments. We highly recommend this very beneficial service!”–Valerie W, Malachi’s mom
Malachi has been doing so well since his TPLO procedure, he is smiling from ear to ear.
“I can’t thank Kelsey enough! My dog Andy tore his CCL, he’s nearly 12 and surgery seemed so risky, so when my dog’s surgeon suggested PT first and gave me a list to chose from I was willing to give it a shot. I chose Kelsey because she is a DPT (I’m an OT) and did home visits. It was very easy to book an appointment and schedule something that fit with my work schedule. I couldn’t believe it after the first session: my dog went from limping, painful, and low energy, to literally running around and happy again! He loved the exercises (and he’s a stubborn old man), and most importantly he loved Kelsey. Even my cat loved Kelsey and enjoyed watching Andy exercise! Now he’s graduated from PT and is back to his old self: no pain meds, going for his usual walks, playing again! I’m so relieved we avoided surgery!”–Alyssa C, Andy’s mom

“After my dog Reggie healed from a badly broken back leg, I noticed that he seemed uneven in the back end and was favoring the injured leg. I contracted with Kelsey to evaluate Reggie and see if we could improve the functioning of his leg. I was very impressed with Kelsey Jonas. She was professional, upbeat, and great with Reggie. She showed me the exercises to work on between sessions. I recommend Kelsey Jonas without hesitation to work with your cherished canine companion. Also, during this time of pandemic, I felt safe having her at my home. Below are a couple of pics of Kelsey working with Reggie.”–Rowan W, Reggie’s mom

“Fonzie had surgery to repair his torn CCL, and I knew that physical therapy would be a part of his healing process. Honestly, I naively thought that underwater treadmill was the only option for canine physical therapy, and I knew that Fonzie would HATE that. Dr. Kelsey Jonas reached out to me on a social media thread where I was recommending the veterinarian who did Fonzie’s surgery, and I am beyond grateful that she did. She was able to come to our home – where Fonzie is comfortable and stress free – and work with him using exercise games that were fun for him, while also helping to heal his leg. Fonzie had fun in his therapy! As a positive reinforcement trainer myself, I was so grateful for her kind and positive approach to therapy with Fonzie. Her homework instructions for us to do during the week were clear and easy to follow. It was incredible to watch and learn! Dr. Kelsey, her knowledge, her communication with me, and her care for Fonzie were all huge aspects of his recovery. I have no doubt that she will help to transform the life of your pet – whether they are post surgery, aging, or having mobility issues. Do your pet and yourself a favor and give her a call – you won’t regret it at all and your pet will be so thankful!”–Gabby U, Fonzie’s mom
Fonzie’s adorable smile since he is able to run and jump again after his surgery!
“Our little girl, a 12 year old West Highland White Terrier tear her CCL back in August. She was in obvious pain and hobbling around a lot. I admit we were afraid that our active girl would not recover. Unfortunately, she was not a surgical candidate due to a heart condition and her age. I had encountered Kelsey Jonas through her Senior Dogs Facebook page. We reached out to have our girl evaluated. After the initial evaluation we hired Kelsey Jonas from Canine PT and Me to work with our girl, she came to our house weekly with her bag of treats and fun activities. Treatment involved pain management and whole body strengthening. In weekly sessions, we learned how to work with our girl to promote healing. In 6 short weeks, our girl made an excellent recovery and we now have the tools to manage her condition to keep her strong, healthy and happy. We are very grateful to Kelsey and her bag of treats and tricks because we got our puppy girl back.”–Maria and Ty H, Rory’s parents
Rory is back to her adventures and walks again with a stronger leg.
“Kimchi, my 3 year old golden retriever, and I had such a positive experience with Dr. Kelsey Jonas! Kimchi has a partial CCL tear and I elected to not have surgery and go for conservative management which included PT. His limping and favoring of that leg has gotten significantly better. Dr. Jonas is passionate about what she does and I can tell that she has been very invested in Kimchi’s healing. Kimchi is always happy to see her as well:) I appreciate the explanations with each of the exercises and the attention to detail. I will most definitely use her to follow up with a maintenance program and also again in the future for any other physical injuries that Kimchi may sustain. Only the best for my Kimchi :)”–Crystal L, Kimchi’s mom

“My 6 year old Standard Poodle, Frank, got a wound on his toe after a hike. We noticed he was limping and took him to the vet. They gave him a couple days of pain meds and a week of antibiotics. After 2 weeks, his toe wasn’t looking much better. I knew we had to do something else to help his toe heal. I did some research and found Canine PT and Me. I talked to Dr. Kelsey, and she explained how animal physical therapy can be very beneficial for injuries and wounds. She was able to come to my house to do a quick laser therapy treatment, and then took my dog through some exercises to help him stop limping and to get his balance back to normal as he was walking unevenly for 2 weeks. Frank LOVED the attention from Dr. Kelsey. And she had him doing exercises that he found to be fun and felt like a game to him. After 3 days of the laser therapy, his wound finally started closing up. He was able to get back into running and is no longer phased by his toe. I will definitely be contacting Canine PT and Me the next time Frank gets injured!”–Jessica S, Frank’s mom

“Kelsey did a great job evaluating my senior dog Spike. He’s an anxious dog, but she was kind and patient with him, and he really warmed up to her. My other dog, Stanley decided to crash the session, and she gave him plenty of pets she treats too. She also gave us exercises to do with Spike to help with his tight hip flexors which was really helpful! I would highly recommend Kelsey to anyone with a senior dog or a dog recovering from an injury!”–Rena M, Spike and Stanley’s mom
Spike being shy while his brother Stanley hogs the couch.
“Kelsey did a fantastic job evaluating my 6 year old German Shepherd, Bronson, who has developed leg pain after playing fetch. She did great connecting with my dog and keeping him at ease while she did her testing. She taught me a comprehensive exercise program to implement in improving his leg strength and spine mobility. Bronson has limped less and run faster over the past month with doing these exercises. He’s a happy pup and gives Kelsey all 4 paws up of approval.”–Jon V, Bronson’s dad
Bronson is so happy that he can play fetch now without pain.
“Canine PT and Me has significantly helped our dog get stronger in his shoulder and joints – he has very wonky legs and for a few days we noticed him limping at random times and became worried for his future health and comfortability. My husband is a physical therapist so we are well aware of the importance of physical self-care and how much can be improved with proper care and exercises so we booked a series of appointments with Dr. Kelsey. She was professional, timely, very great at working with our dog and SO helpful in his health and progress. Canine PT is so important for helping your dog pre and/or post surgery and for long-term maintenance. Every week Dr. Kelsey gave us exercises to work on with our dog and she is always available to contact with questions or concerns. We highly recommend seeing Dr. Kelsey for any of your pet PT needs, you won’t regret it for your dog’s wellness and health!”–Dana M, Tyrion’s mom

“My 7# yorkie/chihuahua slipped on the floor at the bottom of the stairs and injured her left shoulder; nothing broken fortunately but it caused her to have a limp that didn’t go away. I found Kelsey Jonas (Canine PT and Me) and she started her treatment the next week. Not only does she work with my pup’s injured shoulder, she also puts her through exercises to strengthen her weak shoulder muscle and uses her lazer machine to help speed up healing. I’m truly impressed with her ability to calm my dog to treat her. For Kelsey, treating dogs is her passion. I highly recommend this talented and highly trained individual for anyone who has a dog that needs treatment.”–MaryBeth R, Juliet’s mom

“Kelsey is so wonderful and she has helped Tanny so much! When we first started Tanny’s rehab, she had a significant limp and weakness in her legs. Kelsey was able to make Tanny feel better after the first session and it’s been steady progress since then. Between sessions, Kelsey gives me exercises to do with Tanny to keep progressing her strength and Tanny loves doing her exercises because she gets extra treats. I can tell Tanny is feeling better because her limp has gone away and she is more like her normal self again. Kelsey is very positive, detailed, knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and kind to Tanny and myself. I would absolutely recommend Kelsey and Canine PT and Me to anyone considering physical therapy for their dog.” —Sara M, Tanny’s mom
